Despite the efforts of everyone involved to always deliver goods in perfect condition to you, transport damage may unfortunately still occur. It is therefore extremely important that you inspect your shipment for damage upon delivery.

Please document any damage found and record this in the transport/shipping documents! If you fail to observe this procedure, it will not be possible to enforce any claims against the insurance of the transport company.

Here’s a summary of the actions you should take:

1. **Check the Package**: Thoroughly inspect the package upon delivery to identify any visible damage BEFORE the proof of delivery is signed.

2. **Note the Damage**: If you notice any damage to the package, make sure to document it. Document the type of damage (e.g. defective packaging, dented housing, …) on the delivery papers of the freight forwarder/carrier and have the driver confirm this by signature. If the driver refuses to sign, make a note of this as well: The driver refused to sign.

3. **Don’t Sign Without Noting Damage**: Do not sign the delivery acceptance document without recording the damage. This is essential for insurance claims.

4. **Photograph the Damage**: Take as many clear photos as possible of the damaged package and its content. This will serve as visual evidence. (MANDATORY)

5. **Keep Damaged Goods and Packaging**: Keep them as they are, along with the packaging. This is important for a possible inspection and assessment.

6. **Report the Incident**: Contact us the same day that the package was delivered to you. We should file a claim within 24 hours from delivery. Email us on [email protected] to report the incident.

Taking these steps will help ensure a smooth process for filing an insurance claim and getting the issue resolved promptly.

Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions!
